  • Where is the 'Hill Country Cup' Golf Tournament being held this year?

    Our 4-Day Extravaganza Will Be Held at 2 different venues this year in San Antonio, Texas! The Hyatt Hill Country Golf Club & The Hilton Hill Country Hotel.

  • What is the format of this year's event?

    4 Man Texas Scramble

  • Is there a dress code for the tournament?

    Yes.  Appropriate Golf attire is appreciated. No Cutoff shorts allowed.

  • Can I put together my own team?

    YES! You can register your 4-man team or individual player.

  • How is our event handicapped?

    Bring your best team. No handicaps are required. 

  • What is the entry fee for this year's event?

    $575. See posted event schedule for added events.

  • What is the deadline to register for this year's event?

    Registration & payment deadline is July 15 th or until we reach full player limit,

    whichever comes first.

  • What payment methods are available?

    Credit card, Zelle, CashApp, or check. Please visit the registration page for details. A 3.5% processing fee applies to credit card payments; no additional fees apply when using other methods.

  • What if I need to cancel before the event?

    If after registration you need to cancel, you may do so by July 15 th for a full refund. Any special circumstances after that will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Is there a minimum age requirement to play in the tournament?

    NO! Requirements: 1. Individual knows golf etiquette. 2. Individual knows how to

    play. 3. Individual must have their own set of clubs.

  • Will there be food & beverages provided this year?

    YES! See this year’s expanded schedule of events and venues where food & beverages will be provided.

  • What is a helicopter ball drop?

    After consecutive numbered tickets are distributed, hundreds of corresponding numbered Golf Balls will be dropped during the tournament on a target fairway hole. The 5 (five) Closest to the Target hole wins fabulous prizes. All are encouraged to watch this exciting event! Judged by an official from ChildSafe.

  • Are there volunteer opportunities again this year?

    YES! YES! Please Register to Volunteer on our website or contact our Volunteer Captain found on the HCC website Operating Committee page.

  • Are SFTS entry fees complimentary again this year?

    Yes! Please register as SFTS—there is no payment required. Note: To complete your registration, simply select “Pay by Check,” and your registration will be processed.

  • How are the SFTS tournament entry fees & accomodations funded?

    All those in SFTS will have their entry fee and accommodations covered by generous donations.

  • Can I make a donation without participating in the tournament?

    Yes! Donations on the website registration page by non-players will be used for

    the SFTS fund and are much appreciated.

  • Are there sponsorship opportunities available?

    YES!  Businesses and even individuals can sponsor a hole or contest as desired. Donations on the website registration page by non-players will be used for

  • What charities will be supported by this year's event?

    “ChildSafe” See our website for their mission statement.

  • Are there accommodations available for out-of-town participants?

    We have negotiated special pricing with several hotels. Please book and pay through Tournament Headquarters. (text, call or email) There is also special arrangements at the Admiralty RV Resort for those bringing R.V.s.
